Many young people in Nepal have the motivation to work and sustain themselves locally, but lack access to practical skills, and safe income opportunities. This gap often pushes talented youth toward uncertainty and risky migration, not because they want to leave, but because they see no path forward at home.
NextGen Digital Nepal is a six-month initiative (January–June 2026) designed to change the narrative that the future is possible here at home. The project supports 18 disadvantaged youth aged 18–29 to develop job-ready digital skills and explore micro-enterprise opportunities that can generate sustainable future in Nepal. Through hands-on learning, mentorship, and real-world exposure, NextGen Digital Nepal enables youth to build confidence, create opportunity, and take their first steps toward dignified work and self-reliance—right here in Nepal.
After 20 days at HINA, I finally found the answer to how—how to move forward and how to turn my dream into reality. What once felt unclear now feels achievable, and I can truly see my dream taking shape. I am deeply grateful to HINA for giving me direction, practical skills, and the courage to move forward with confidence.

Social Innovation Academy (SINA) serves as both the technical and funding partner for NextGen Digital Nepal, building on a trusted collaboration established through previous initiatives. Their continued partnership strengthens the project’s design, delivery, and overall impact by combining financial support with deep technical expertise.
SINA contributes through strategic guidance, capacity building, and mentorship in areas such as personal development, design thinking, and social entrepreneurship. This integrated support ensures that both the project team and participating youth receive practical, high-quality learning and mentorship—enabling young people to transition confidently into digital jobs and sustainable micro-enterprises.
Shankharapur Municipality and Gomadevi Youth Club continue to be valued partners in our ongoing work. Shankharapur Municipality supports the project by providing necessary approvals, local coordination, and guidance to ensure alignment with community priorities and local policies.
Gomadevi Youth Club plays a vital on-the-ground role by generously providing space and facilities for trainings, workshops, and youth activities. Together, these partners help create a supportive local ecosystem where young people can learn, grow, and turn their ideas into meaningful action for their communities.
We measure success by the growth, skills, and opportunities our scholars gain. Through hands-on learning, mentorship, and community projects, young people gain confidence, practical skills, and the ability to create meaningful change. From launching social enterprises to contributing to their communities, our impact is seen in the transformation of individuals and the positive ripple effect they bring to society.
HINA ensures at least 50% female participation, empowering young women with equal access to learning, mentorship, and opportunities.
Through skill-building, entrepreneurship guidance, and project-based learning, we help youth create sustainable livelihoods and contribute to local economies.
We nurture innovative thinking and digital skills, enabling young changemakers to develop solutions that strengthen communities and industries.
HINA focuses on inclusive programs, giving marginalized and underrepresented youth the tools and support to thrive and reduce social and economic disparities.
