Nepal's Young Generation — Local Jobs & Micro-Enterprises

Project Overview

Every day approximately 3300 Nepal’s young people leave home particularly for middle east and south korea in search of opportunity — not because they want to, but because they feel they must. Nepal’s Young Generation exists to change that. Over six months, 25 young people — more than half of them women — come together to discover that the future they’re looking for can be built right here. They begin by learning the skills that matter today: digital tools, financial know-how, and the mindset of an entrepreneur. Then, with mentors beside them, they turn those skills into something real — a job, a small business, a livelihood rooted in their own community. This isn’t just training. It’s proof that opportunity doesn’t have to mean leaving.
