HINA stands for Hope Innovation Academy. We are a nonprofit organization committed to empowering youth and communities through education, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Our programs are designed to build leadership, life skills, and livelihood opportunities — especially for underserved young people in Nepal.
HINA Scholars are typically youth between the ages of 18 to 29, who are eager to learn, grow, and create social impact in their communities. We particularly encourage applicants from marginalized or low-income backgrounds, and those with a strong commitment to personal development and entrepreneurship.
HINA offers a three-phase capacity-building journey:
No, HINA’s core programs are free of cost for selected scholars. We believe financial limitations should never hinder personal or professional growth. However, scholars are expected to commit fully, attend regularly, and actively participate throughout the program duration.
You can support HINA by donating directly, partnering with us, or volunteering your skills and time. Visit our Join Us or Donate page to learn about various giving options — including in-kind donations, sponsorships, and fundraising campaigns. HINA is based in Shankharapur-4, Kathmandu, Nepal. We primarily work with local youth and communities but also welcome collaboration with national and international partners who share our mission.
