HINA stands for Hope Innovation Academy. We are a nonprofit organization committed to empowering youth and communities through education, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Our programs are designed to build leadership, life skills, and livelihood opportunities — especially for underserved young people in Nepal.

HINA Scholars are typically youth between the ages of 18 to 29, who are eager to learn, grow, and create social impact in their communities. We particularly encourage applicants from marginalized or low-income backgrounds, and those with a strong commitment to personal development and entrepreneurship.

HINA offers a three-phase capacity-building journey:

  • Emerging Stage: Orientation and foundational skills.
  • Concentration Stage: In-depth training in entrepreneurship, ICT, personal development, and critical thinking.
  • Applied Stage: Real-life project implementation, mentorship, and career development.
  • We also conduct short-term bootcamps, digital literacy workshops, and social impact events

No, HINA’s core programs are free of cost for selected scholars. We believe financial limitations should never hinder personal or professional growth. However, scholars are expected to commit fully, attend regularly, and actively participate throughout the program duration.

You can support HINA by donating directly, partnering with us, or volunteering your skills and time. Your contributions directly support youth education, training, and community projects.

HINA is based in Shankharapur-4, Kathmandu, Nepal. We primarily work with local youth and communities but also welcome collaboration with national and international partners who share our mission.

HINA Scholars receive:

  • Access to expert facilitators and mentors
  • Entrepreneurship and ICT training
  • Personal development sessions
  • Project planning and execution support
  • Networking opportunities
  • Certification upon successful completion

Our approach is holistic — we support each scholar’s journey from learning to launching impactful community projects.

Absolutely! We welcome volunteers, mentors, guest speakers, trainers, and organizational partners who are passionate about youth empowerment and community transformation. Email us at [email protected] to start a conversation.

We use a structured evaluation system to track each scholar’s progress across various stages: Emerging, Concentration, Linking, and Acceleration. We also document:

  • The number and quality of social impact projects launched
  • Scholar transitions into higher education or employment
  • Leadership and communication growth
  • Community feedback and beneficiary reach

Our impact is not just data — it’s the stories of transformation.
